Storage & Handling:

• Safe-T-Vue  8 must be refrigerated at same temperature as product for a minimum of 24 hours prior to use.
• Do not remove Safe-T-Vue 10 from refrigerator until moment of application.
• Inventory may be stored or shipped at room temperature.
• Safe-T-Vue  8 may be kept in laboratory refrigerator for up to 3 months.  At end of 3 month period, remove Safe-T-Vue 8 from the refrigerator for 24-48 hours, and then return to the refrigerator.  Cycling may be repeated every 3 months.

Quick Start Instructions:

To Use:

1. Remove product to be monitored (vaccines, biologicals, specimens, etc.) and one Safe-T-Vue 8 Indicator from the refrigerator at the same time, and place product on surface near the refrigerator.   
2. Use of a cold pack will help maintain temperature of product during dispensing process by placing cold pack under bag. Keep multiple cold packs in laboratory refrigerator to assure that cold pack temperature is the same as product.
3. Peel off the “REMOVE” label to expose adhesive, being careful to handle by the color coded end only.
4. Attach Safe-T-Vue 8 to product/packaging where there is largest volume of product.
5. Hold Safe-T-Vue 8 against product with finger tips and peel off the foil lid to expose RED DOT and WHITE DOT.
6. Fold the WHITE DOT into RED DOT and press firmly together to activate.
7. When WHITE DOT has turned RED, temperature has reached 8°C.
